Sherrow
65th ANNIVERSARY
July 26th, 2008
JC and Dorothy Sherrow celebrated their 65th Anniversary July 27, 2008 at Amphitheater Bible Church. The renewing of their vows was enjoyed by family and friends, followed by a reception luncheon.
They were married on July 26, 1943 at the home of the Bride's parents in Garrard County, KY. The groom was on leave from the U.S. Navy prior to joining the Pacific fleet during WWII.
JC and Dorothy first came to Tucson in 1958 for their son Harry's health. JC retired from a career in construction that spanned the United States. He enjoys Silverbell Lake and his fishering friends. Dorothy continues to be an accomplished quilter. Family and friends have been blessed by her creations.
They raised three sons: Harry (passed away 1971), Charles (Judith) Brodhead, KY, and Clay (Debbie) Tucson, AZ. They have been blessed with five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
