The story book fairy tale becomes true as Melissa Renee Gonzalez celebrated her 15th Birthday with the Blessing of her parents, Jesus and Rebecca Gonzalez, at a Mass at St. Margaret Mary's Parish officiated by Father Gilbert. Melissa was escorted by her brothers, Jesse Gonzalez and Adrian Gonzalez. Her Padrinos are Carlos and Rosemary Lozoya, Enrique Moreno Jr. and Nancy Snell. Grandparents are Harold and Betty Jones, Manuel and Maria (deceased) Gonzalez escorted by Martha Gonzalez-Sanchez. Several of Melissa's cousins participated in the court of honor, Anyssa Gonzalez, Marissa Gonzalez, Raelynn Yourgulez, Hannah Kruger, Angelika Garica, Nicolas Gonzalez, Daniel Manriquez and Louie Trevino, along with several of her friends. A dinner dance was held at Las Cazuelitas Event Center.
