WEDDING
May 8th, 2009
Jacob Lauser and Wendy Troutman were married on May 8, 2009 at Wheatland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, PA. A reception followed at The Country Barn of Lancaster. Diane Menga was the matron of honor. Alan Thayer was the best man. Ring bearer was Joshua Lauser, brother of the groom.
Jacob is the son of Lawrence and Pamela Lauser, and grandson of William English and Mary V. Wood, the late John Sr. and Margaret Lauser (both deceased). He is a 1997 graduate of Sabino H.S., Tucson, AZ. Jacob graduated from the University of Arizona in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 2009, he received his Juris Doctorate degree in Law from Appalachian School of Law and is currently working as a Lawyer.
Wendy is the daughter of Paul and Joy Troutman, and granddaughter of Dorothy Sassaman and the late Raymond Sassaman, the late Paul Sr. and Margaret Troutman (both deceased). She is a 1996 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area H.S., Elizabethville, PA. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University, University Park, PA in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Services. Wendy is employed by Lancaster General Health, Lancaster, PA as Behavioral Health Coordinator.
The couple spent their honeymoon on Nantucket Island, MA enjoying beautiful weather and delicious seafood. They now reside in Lancaster County, PA. The wedding was a small, intimate affair attended by family and friends.
