Today was another tough day at the gym. We started with my weight and body fat measurements. I have lost 3 pounds, which puts me down to 146. Even though I haven't lost a lot of weight, I have decreased my body fat from 27% to 25%. This is the part I am really excited about. I am gaining muscle and losing fat. I have to remember not to weight myself at home because I don't want to become discouraged if it doesn't drop quickly. I feel better, and my clothes fit better, even if I have only lost 3 pounds.
My workouts get a little more difficult each week. Today was my third workout of the week, so we did a quick, full-body workout. I was a little sore from my upper body workout on Tuesday, but my legs feel great. I need to remember to drink more water before my workout so that my body is hydrated before I go in. I drink a full bottle of water throughout my workout as well, and grab an apple before I leave the gym. If I don't have my apple, I hit a wall by 2 o'clock and need to get carbs in my system fast.
