This really hurts :)

They always say the second day is the worst, and it is true. My hamstrings are really sore today from my workout on Monday. We working mostly upper body yesterday, so were back to legs again today. We tried not to work the hamstrings since they were sore, but that didn't really work. We did leg lifts on the machine and single leg step-ups in a bench. We also did squats with the bar on my shoulders. It was a good hurt because it helped loosen my tight and sore muscles.

My diet is still tough. I have a hard time eating a lot of protein and cutting back the carbs. I have been making my protein shakes twice a day and actually really like them now that I've gotten use to the taste. I'm having a lot of chicken and fish with vegetables. Definitely no eegee's fries with ranch! That is going to be the first thing I have once I reach my goals! :)
