Tucson Citizen FAQ

When did The Tucson Citizen stop printing?
The last day of print publication was Saturday May 16.

Why did the Citizen stop printing?
Dramatic changes in our industry combined with the difficult economy - particularly in this region - mean it was no longer viable to produce two daily printed newspapers in Tucson

I had a Citizen subscription. What happened to it?
Most subscribers began receiving the Arizona Daily Star on the same days they used to receive the Citizen, at their Citizen rate. We will honor your Citizen rate until your current subscription period expires. Your payment method will also remain the same and we will continue your money-saving home delivery unless we hear otherwise.

What if I do not wish to receive the Arizona Daily Star?
Simply e-mail us at circulation@tucson.com, or call customer service at 800-695-4492.

I just renewed my subscription, are you sending me my money back?
Your current subscription automatically rolled over to the Arizona Daily Star unless you instructed us otherwise. If you would like any refunds, please call our Customer Service Center at 800-695-4492 or email circulation@tucson.com

Is the Arizona Daily Star going to cost me more?
We will honor your existing Citizen rate until the end of your subscription term.

What is going to happen to my carrier?
We can't give information on individual routes, but many of the Citizen carriers have been given the opportunity to deliver the Star.

Will the Tucson Citizen website still be published?
Yes. The Citizen's web site will continue its role as a place for a separate community conversation. Its staff will focus on stimulating public engagement in local affairs.

Do I still call the same phone number for customer service?
Yes, all phone numbers remain the same for circulation customer service. You may call 800-695-4492.

Is www.tucson.com/ezaccess still going to be the web site for customer service?
Yes.

What email address may I use to contact the customer service department within circulation?
Continue to use circulation@tucson.com
