We invite you to share what you are doing!

The Showcase of Tucson Nurses is a sharing educational conference where nurses from around Southern Arizona exchange innovative health care ideas during a continuing education offering. As part of the Nurses Week celebration, this conference is a tribute to nurses who respond daily to the health care needs of their communities. Annually more than two hundred nurses from Southern Arizona, educators, staff nurses, administrators, clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, researchers, and other practicing professionals from a variety of disiplines attend the the Showcase to learn about current nursing research and practice, and network with their collegues.

Many innovative practice ideas, projects and research studies are being conducted by nurses in Southern Arizona. Submit your experience and/or ideas for consideration as a paper or poster presentation.

The Showcase of Tucson Nurses strives to educate and nurture nurses in the Tucson area. Please keep the following objectives in mind when submitting your abstract application:

+ Call for Abstracts

The deadline for abstract submissions is January 15, 2010.

Please fill out the abstract online application completely. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. The abstract should not exceed 300 words.

+ Review Process, Notification, and Acceptance

The review process will be conducted and selections made based on ability to meet criteria. All authors will receive notification of abstract application status. You will receive an accepted or rejected notification via email. Your acceptance to participate must be received within one week of notification. Failure to do so will constitute a decline to present. All authors listed on the original abstract application will be listed in program materials. Accepted abstracts may be printed in the Conference/Gala program.

+ Presenter Registration

Registration fees for primary presentation and poster authors are waived, but you are still required to register. Additional authors are expected to register to attend the conference and pay the registration fee. Your completed registration form must be received on or before the published deadline. Failure to register by the cut-off date will constitute a decline to present.
