+ Tucson Nurses Week Sponsorship

For 15 years, the Tucson Nurses Week Foundation (TNWF) has been recognizing nurses in a manner befitting the role they play in the health of our community. The TNWF is committed to Sharing innovative health practices, to humanistic Caring for the community and to Celebrating nursing as a learning profession.

Every day nurses in Southern Arizona affect lives. They are on the front lines of patient care and advocacy...they are our unsung heroes. Southern Arizona has 9,358 active Registered Nurses who all deserve our recognition and appreciation.

Despite recent economic trends; the healthcare industry in Southern Arizona continues to grow. We are one of the nation’s top retirement and travel destinations, catering to some 1 million residents and 3.9 million visitors annually; all of whom depend on our vast network of hospitals, urgent care facilities and practitioners to provide top notch medical care.

How can you position your organization in front of this coveted audience, and join with our community to celebrate the nursing profession?

On May 8, 2009 the TNWF will present their 15th Annual Fabulous 50’s Gala hosted by the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort; recognizing 50 of the best nurses in Southern Arizona. This event will be attended by 600+ healthcare professionals and, in addition, the May 8th, 2008 Showcase of Nursing Conference will be attended by an additional 350+ practicing nurses and nursing students.

In 2008, TNWF partnered with Tucson Newspapers. This partnership is designed to promote the TNWF events and the art of nursing. What does this mean to you? As a sponsor of the event, you will be recognized not only at the event, but also in print through a targeted special section and online.

Be part of this list of prestigious organizations and join with us in Celebrating the nursing profession. Your donation will 1) help to supplement the cost of these programs, allowing more of our community’s nurses to attend and 2) fund projects to improve the quality of care for patients.
