Timeline and Instructions for Nomination Process
Organization Awards*
- Nominations can be made by anyone for any organization.
- Required information:
- Nominee company name
- HR VP/Director/Manager name
- Contact phone
- Contact email
- Company main phone line
- Your name and contact info
- Applications will be sent electronically to all nominees by 10/8/09 to the email address provided.
- Nominees will be recognized in the Arizona Daily Star, on www.tucson.com/workplaceexcellence and at the 10/13/09 SHRM-GT meeting
- Completed applications are due by 11/30/09
- Applications are sent to the WPEA judges by 12/1/09
- Application are due back from the WPEA Judges by 1/11/10
- Finalists will be announced in January 1/18-22/2010
- Event at the Westin La Paloma 3/3/10

- Trend Setter Award
- Service Partner Award
- Bocker-Meza Awards
Individual Awards*
- Call for Applications open – 8/27 - 11/30/09
- Nomination applications can be made by anyone for either of the two individual HR awards.
- Completed applications are due by 11/30/09
- Applications are sent to the WPEA judges by 12/1/09
- Applications are due back from the WPEA Judges by 1/11/10
- Finalists will be announced in 1/18-22/2010
- Event 3/3/10
*Individual Awards:
- HR Leader of the Year
